Things we like - TSUBO The Winslow Boot

In 2011 I had the pleasure to be introduced to great brands and their creators.I wanted to introduce you guys to TSUBO and it’s Brain Stormer Gianpolo Altomari. In PROJECT Vegas 2011 I was able to have the opportunity to be the correspondent for the FEB. 2011 show. There I had the pleasure to interview Gianpolo from TSUBO, he came across as a very humble and passionate brand creator. And since then he has been a great friend during the PROJECT 2011 season.

He was able to send me his latest creation the WINSLOW boot. When I received it I put them away for a special day, and that day was finally here. I wanted you guys to get my review about this great boot. The Details, the boot is very detailed from the two tone leather to the leather insole, and I can’t forget the wing tip.

The Performance, it has a rubber insole, rubber sole and the elastic upper for extra comfort take this shoe to another level. This boot has made me a TSUBO customer for life.

While at Project New York {IR}REGULAR got to meet Hommy Diaz. Hommy is the Global Lifestyle Product Line Manager for DC Shoes. Hommy and his team are responsible for a number of projects including DC Life’s Studio Sessions and their new project NVRBRKN. At its core NVRBRKN is about overcoming adversity metally, physically, and conceptually. This concept will be shown through various items in the NVRBRKN line and we cant wait to see what Hommy and the team behind NVRBRKN have in store for the upcoming season. The following photos are from the NVRBRKN party at Dave Ortiz’s new shop Dave’s Wearhouse.

We met a number of great brands, saw their new collections, and most importantly we got to meet the people behind those brands. Project New York 2011 connect, politic, ditto.
